You're the one avoiding faulting Yao at all.
Hey genius, Yao's had bad games but you don't want to admit it.

Just imagine how "Rocket fans" will criticize Yao when he had stats like this:
    D.Howard C 25:57 0-3 0-0 4-6 0 7 4

Bad games happen to everyone. But when Yao had a bad game, it's inexcusable to some fans.

That's exactly what everyone predicted last season when they had a head-to-head match up. What happened? Yao completely made Dwight Howard his step-child by pure OWNAGE! And then everyone here shut up about Dwight Howard.

Watch, same thing will happen. And don't you Dwight Howard fans go anywhere after that night!

There's bad game and there are bad games. I don't remember Hakeem ever having a game this bad during his prime. Yao certainly hasn't played anywhere close to that bad this year. What happened? How can a "best at his position" (which I do think he is) player have that happen to them?

Let's hear the excuses from these Dwight Howard bandwagon fans. What kind of excuse will you guys come up with when Yao owns Dwight Howard again head-to-head? The same thing happened last year, and all of a suddent you Dwight Howard fans just vanished out of thin air! :D

Wait, how did Yao "own" Dwight last year? We lost that game. Sure he had 19/17 but shot 38% and did not win. Dwight had 21/11 which is pretty good itself. I wouldn't call that owning. Honestly, I rather have the win that Yao having better stats. Give me the W on Saturday because I don't care who wins a head to head matchup. Its the Rockets vs Magic, not Yao vs Dwight.

Prior to that game, Yao owned Dwight Howard by a bunch of large margin in each of their head-to-head match-ups. So that first head-to-head meeting last year on December 19th, 2007, Yao owned Dwight in rebounding. Yao had 5 offensive rebounds (total 17 boards) to Dwight Howard's only 1 offensive board. So all the Dwight Howard were already vanishing on this forum.

But here's the goody goody for you Dwight Howard bandwagoner fans!!!!!

    http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/boxscore?gameId=280104019

2nd head-to-head meeting of last season. Yao clearly owned Dwight Howard again like his step-child, and won the game all by himself!! It was like pure ownage to the face of the earth's damnation that Yao put on Dwight Howard!!! BOO YAH! Not only did he beat Dwight Howard, he also beat the damn referees! Remember that game, the referee called a bogus phantom foul on Yao when Dwight Howard ran into a standing Yao. That Rafer Alston lay-up was called off because the stupid referee called a bogus offensive foul on Yao, wtf!! Here's the other goody goody fact, TMac did not play! Who knows, maybe he was faking an injury.

2nd head-to-head meeting when Yao owned Dwight Howard like a step-child.

Yao Ming: 10-18 FG (55.5%), 26 points, 10 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, DOUBLE-DOUBLE on Dwight Howard, BOO YAH!

Dwight Howard: 5-11 FG (only 45%), ONLY 16 points, ONLY 8 rebounds (HAHA, EVEN Shane Battier out-rebounded Dwight Howard in this game!), ONLY 1 assist, NO DOUBLE-DOUBLE, AND YAO MING FOULED HIM OUT!!!!!! BOO YAH!

Guess what happened after that game? Yao secured his best center crown, and all the bandwagoner Dwight Howard fans on here just poofed and vanished in thin air! This will happen again, just watch!

I'm loving it! BOO YAH! BOO YAH! BOO YAH!

LOL, who the hell says "BOO YAH"? Anyways, before Yao owns Dwight, I would have liked to see him own the past centers hes played. He hasn't really owned anyone as of late. So it is hard for me to see him own Dwight, who is probably the best Center Yao will play so far. There is still one thing Dwight has done that Yao has yet to do and that is get out of the 1st Round. To me, winning a playoff series is 10x better beating someone in head to head stats.

    对于姚明来说,只是希望他发挥出自己应有的水平就好,可以带领火箭走的更远就是他的目标.个人觉得没必要拿来跟谁比...

I'd rather the Rockets have Dwight over Yao...but c'mon, you're gonna compare playoffs when Dwight gets to play in the Leastern Conference?

A lot of people say Boo Yah cause we know we're right! So BOO YAH!

Yao owned Ericka Dampier and Diop, But Ericka and Diop kept Dwight Howard in check. And of course, Emeka Okafor OWNED Dwight Howard couple nights ago! Yao already owned Emeka Okafor! BOO YAH!

Oh and right now, here's the goody goody! Jermaine O'Neal is owning Dwight Howard!!!!!!!!!!!!!! BOO YAH! Yao already owned Jermaine O'Neal plenty of times. Boo yah!

Don't you go anywhere when Yao owns Dwight Howard again head-to-head. Just like last year! You're one of those bandwagoner Dwight Howard fans that vanished into thin air when Yao owned him! BOO YAH!

I bet you'll say the opposite if Dwight Howard gets the better head-to-head stats against Yao, which will never ever happen. Never ever ever!

I've never even heard of the Yao vs Dwight debate before, I really didnt think it WAS a debate.

Amazing to read so much passion, especially on the Yao side.

I personally believe this is the biggest reason Dwight gets the edge:

    57, 48, 55

    vs

    82, 82, 82

Yao is just too brittle. Yao is more finesse, whereas Dwight is the power player.

It is much easier to develop a mid-range jumper and improve percentages than it is to develop a power game. Therefore, I believe as time moves on, Dwight will get better and better, while Yao stays the same or deteriorates.

IMO, Yao is just TOO big. His size is unnatural, and I don't think is body can handle it. A systematic breakdown is inevitable IMO, and Yao will suffer for it.

Last I checked, he already tweaked his ankle.

Don't get me wrong, I love Yao, and I hope the guy plays 82 games a year plus gets 16 wins on top of that :)

But I think Dwight wins this battle hands down. And I suspect most NBA minds would agree.

So you think winning a battle is being owned like a step-child? Hahaha. Okay, sure.
