    Hmm let's see.
Dwight shoots a higher percentage than Yao on the floor, grabs more rebounds offensive and defensive, steals the ball more, blocks the ball more, has more assists and scores more points.

Whereas Yao shoots a better percentage from the line and has less turnovers and personal fouls.

Pretty easy choice here, I'd take Dwight over Yao most days of the week.

When Yao owns Dwight Howard again in a head-to-head match up, I like to see what kind of excuse you bandwagoner fans will come up with. Just like last season when Yao owned Dwight Howard, all of you shut up quickly! HAHA!

Yao only fans like you are annoying. I like Yao and the Rockets but I recognize his faults and he has a ton of them. Dwight just happens to have less faults and is a much better two way player. You're the type of person who will never admit it when Yao has a bad game. Just already you point to Dwight having a bad game but if Yao has one, you'll just ignore it.

You are over reacting like a crazy psycho. You're talking about things that's not even relevant. We're talking about Dwight Howard can't even crack 20 points against Ericka Dampier and Diop tonight, but Yao already owned those 2 scrubs. Just admit it, Dwight Howard always gets owned by Yao playing head to head. Let's just leave it at that. End of discussion.

First of all i just wanna say i dont really like it when people are labelled as *** or ***, Cadet65 is delusional. I am probably one of the biggest Yao fans out there, i been like a die hard fan since his rookie years. But i am not delusional and i know where Yao's faults are. Yao outplayed Dwight last year but it wasn't by much, Yao scored a lot of point in garbage time in the second game, the first game was rather close. So Yao didn't outplay Dwight by a lot as cadet65 claims.

It is not one game that determines how good a player is, but rather their performance throughout the whole season. Dwight has performed at a much higher level than Yao. Just accept the facts and move on.

Hahaha, lastmanstanding, you're so desparate, you're making another handle. LOL! Judging from that writing style, you gave it away easily without even doing an IP address trace.

Actually Yao scored a lot of points in Dwight Howard's face! So just accept the fact. Garbage time?! Yea right? Watch that game again! Yao owned Dwight Howard head-to-head each time, just accept it and leave it at that. End of discussion.

Oh yea, and just a reminder, Dwight Howard couldn't even crack 20 points on Ericka Dampier and Diop tonight. It's safe to say Ericka Dampier got Dwight Howard in check. Again, that's a fact!

Yes I truly decided to join one month before this post under another handle.

So Yao only scoring 13 and 16 points vs Portland and OKC while Dwight scored 29 and 30 this year vs them so does that mean Yao can't crack 20 points vs LMA or whoever's on the Thunder while Dwight can?

Sounds like you like to change the subject. We're talking about Ericka Dampier putting Dwight Howard on check. Stay to the subject. Yes, Ericka Dampier owns Dwight Howard. Enough said.

You don't get it do you?
You're making the comparison that since Yao owns Dampier, and Howard couldn't score against him, that he's better than Howard.
But Howard scored more vs the Blazers and Thunder while Yao didn't. Does that make Howard better?

Again, you're changing the subject. Yao owned Dwight Howard in all of their head-to-head match ups. Let's leave it at that and that trend will continue. Yao just owns Dwight Howard, simple as that. And of course, Ericka Dampier also owns Dwight Howard.

The subject has always been who is the better center, not who has won the head to head matchup.

Until Dwight Howard outplays Yao consistently, then he'll be considered to be in Yao's level. But for now, no. Yao will always own Dwight Howard head-to-head whether you like it or not. And next time Yao owns Dwight Howard, I want to hear what kind of excuses you Dwight Howard fan boys will come up with.

    Hehehehe.

Lol of course Yao Ming will own Dwight every single time. Due to his size, weight and scoring prowess Yao Ming will own every single center out there in head-to-head matches, which is why people universally regard him as the best center in the league right now. In this regard you can think of Yao as a center-killer...He will always own and be better than any other center for this season at least (Shaq, Bynum, Kaman, Howard etc).

However he is not 100% right now. Yao Ming has lost his swagger that he had last season, missing open dunks and shots that he normally made in his sleep in the past (what happened to "YOu can't stop me!"?). Not only that I think his body is still recovering because he looks 2x slower than he was before, which is bad considering he already made a turtle look like flash before his injuries. Right now, I'd say Dwight is better than he is, mainly because Yao Ming is at like 60% of his capability right now.

Will Yao regain his status as best center in the coming weeks? I hope so, his window is rapidly closing...in 2 or 3 more seasons Dwight Howard will start reaching his peak (he is still only 23 after all lol), then HE will be the number 1 center in the league :(

Dwight Howard will be a Shawn Kemp without a jump shot. Once his vertical leap decrease when he's no longer young, he'll be a scrub. I don't see him developing a jump shot like Amare.

Hey Dwight Howard fans, what happened to Dwight Howard today? Does he have a new daddy now by the name of Emeka Okafor? Dwight Howard is 0-3, grabbed boards, and only scored 4 points before he fouled out! Emeka Okafor out-rebounded, out-scored, and out-played Dwight Howard!!!

What you Dwight Howard bandwagoner fans have to say now?! I'm loving it!

It's called having a bad game.
Just ask Yao, he's had plenty of those this year.

I don't know if this just shows that every player had slumps and bad games, or that our fans are just so irrational and panicky over every single second of the basketball.

Dwight can have 5 or 10 bad games, and you won't hear, too much about it or you'll hear ohh...he's just going through a slump. While, most Magic fans will probably be supportive and believe it only to be temporary.

In Houston, if T-Mac or Yao has two or more consecutive bad games, it is already time to trade 'em. Where's the logic in that?
