I like his free throw form. I don't even feel like his explosive athleticism is all the way back, either. He still seems like he paces himself.

I think he is really working on it tonight during shoot around. He practiced some inside post moves, but he really worked on that bank shot and it looked pretty good!

I was noticing it and then the other night Calvin Murphy mentioned that he doesn't use his legs at all when he was shooting his free throws. He was basically shotputting it at the rim.

One at a time. He'll get there. For now, FTs first...

His FT% is still below his Orlando years. If he can averages around 60% I'd be happy.

one of them was that absurd ball that went out of bounds jump ball where the refs claimed we had possession in order to reset the shot clock.

His form is terrible. One day his FT's are line drives and and the next day he puts more arc on his shot. He never seems comfortable, I don't see how a guy goes 10 years in the league and has shot as many FT's as he has, has not developed a consistent routine.

couldn't care less about turnovers, it a very over rated stat sometimes, all the best players usually have high turn over rates, Steph Curry had 11 the other day, he averages less than LeBron but if LeBron played for the Rockets people wouldn't be talking about his turnovers

people foul him on purpose most of the time just to send him there, it is the only reason he averages so many free throws

We saw some nice alley-oops in this game too. Nice to see JLin and Howard finally connect on one.

Dude looked great in the post last night. Dwight really just needs to add more fakes to keep his defender off balance. Some of his moves are too telegraphed, thus his shots get blocked.

I heard it said on 790 this morning, and I agree...he plays center like a center. I love that.

I will go even further and say that this feels different than even having Yao. Yao had an undeniable offensive ability that I wish Dwight had. However seeing a physical big man that rebounds the way he does and that imposes his will is awesome. I went to the first game against the Bobcats and I was amazed how Dwight would jump and rebound the ball on his way up as opposed to most players who get the rebound at the peak of their jump. It is hard to explain but was amazing to watch. Imagine if he had Yao's range or free throw ability . . . . I always ask my brother, "How many teams do you know that put their center on the line for technical shots?"

Oh, hell yes, and this is a city that loves exactly that. I'm busy loving it from Austin!

Lots of his turnovers this season have been on bad passes (low bounce passes). Also, the refs have been calling traveling on our guys all season - something we will get fixed easily.

D12 is an absolute monster and has reclaimed his throne as NBA's best center.

One of the preseason games he tried a Duncan-esque bank shot from quite close to the baseline - he's working on it.

He looked focused last night. As long as he uses his strengths he should be very good for us.

Look at the start of this seasons, 4-1! Imagine when everything is in place and oiled, man we are going to be dangerous.

We always play better in the second half of season.
