My sources tell me that Dwight wants to be in either Houston, Atlanta, Brooklyn, Boston, new York, Los Angeles if that fails he has added Phoenix, Denver, Oklahoma, new Orleans, Charlotte and basically anywhere but Orlando, Chicago or Utah.

Is it possible no teams actually want him? I wonder if his back issues are scaring teams off worse than his agent/PR nightmares have.

Why doesn't Howard want to go to Miami? Bosh for Dwight makes sense for both sides if he agrees to commit.

    Do dinosaurs cry?

I would honestly prefer a deal with Houston over a deal with the Lakers if I'm Orlando.

I think many Rockets fans just accept nothing good will happen to the Rockets.

One word: Bynum. The Rockets cant match that if LA is willing to part with Bynum.

I've heard this is how the convo went with Hennigan.

Howard: Hey Rob, i'm demanding you trade me to the Nets.

Hennigan: That will be very difficult, they don't have much to offer us, plus they wouldn't be able to resign you next year.

Howard: You don't know that just trade me there already.

Hennigan: I am going to try to do what is best for this team but I will take your request into consideration.

Howard: It isn't a request, it's a demand. Trade me to the Lakers.

Hennigan: :confused:The Lakers? I thought you said the Nets?

    Howard: I did?

Hennigan: Well which one do you want? Lakers or Nets?

Howard: Rob, I already told you, trade me to the Nets!

Hennigan: Ok so the Nets is where you want to go?

Howard: God danget Rob just trade me to the Rockets already, you're really starting to tick me off!

    Hennigan: *sigh* Ok Dwight... :(

He knows he is going to come off poorly in any scenario, but going to Miami would ruin his likability and that seems to be very important to him. To go to the power house team in the same state? It would be like Hakeem leaving the Rockets to play for San Antonio, more like him going to Chi, if Chi was located in Texas.

He is screwed either way and I can't imagine he has ANY control over where he goes now. No one trusts him, they pretty much all know they are getting a rental if he doesn't agree to sign pre-trade.

If I am Hou...don't make the trade. I would rather give Asik and Donatas a chance before we sell off everyone for one year with a guy who just had back surgery.

Either he signs extension or no deal. If we are going to have to give up multiple picks plus players to get him. He is running out of teams that really have what it takes to get a deal done, and I wouldn't give him what he wants which is to get out of Orlando and go to Brooklyn. If he goes to Brooklyn via free agency its going to take 20 million off the contract and we will see how bad he really wants to go there then.
