Sit dwight for game 2. No guarantees we can steal that game with him. Rest him and give Capela a lot of minutes. Maybe they take us lightly and Harden goes god mode and we steal it anyway. We need to make sure we have best chance of winning our home games.

If there was a game today(there isn't), no way he plays.

I'm not sure he even plays tomorrow but [I suppose] there is a chance.

There's a game every other day so not a lot of time to rest or get healthy. If he misses tomorrow and plays game three, still "only" 3 days off.

Being a gametime decision sucks, but I think people are being dramatic because we were run around before on how long Howard would be out.

this is the big quote for me….if he's actually relieved the diagnosis wasn't worse, that means the pain must be pretty bad

i heard dwight was active in team practice today.

if i were mchale, i'd sit him out for the next game so he gets a few days of rest. ride capela in game 2.

Every day of rest counts. If the Rockets play well and win with Capela getting a lot of minutes in Game 2, maybe you sit him for Game 3 and keep it rolling. Give him more rest. A very big IF though.

So Dwight can tell us right now how long the series will last? He knows he'll be back because he knows there will be a game 5? 6? 7?

He couldn't even finish last game...even if aggressively treated, he'll still be in pain tomorrow, and if he plays on it so quickly again, he'll likely not finish that game out either. That's why I doubt he'll even play tomorrow. It's one step forward, then surely a step back, maybe more. He doesn't know anything, other than he's willing to try at some point out of desperation (likely when we're down 2-0 heading into game 3), and although that's an admirable thing to do, it's also selfishly stupid. He could seriously injure his knee by playing on it. All for what, to say he gave it his all? I hope the medical staff puts their foot down and doesn't clear him, if it's necessary.

I'm probably reading too much into it but when he says "I'll definitely be back this series", doesn't exactly sound like a guy suiting up game two. Again, I'm probably reading too much into it. :)

Doubt it. Unless for hacking vs Iggy or Ezeli. What i see happening is Capella starting and the Rockets go small with Jones as center. The Warriors go small all the time too.

I guess he may have to sit tomorrow. Rest him til Saturday. Technically tomorrow isn't a must-win, although obviously winning 4 out of 5 won't be easy.

where did you hear that? Feigen tweeted he joined them late, but implied he obviously would not be participating.
