No biggie. Asik needs more playing time anyway.

Good timing with the schedule being what it is. No reason to hurry back.

He could have probably used the rest earlier on this recent road trip. It obviously must have been hurting him then.

Bitter sweet. I want him to rest but it's playoff week in fantasy basketball and I have him and LeMarcus. Shaft.

That's okay, Asik is doing good. Asik need to be in shape for the playoffs.

I smell a Spurs-esque Dwight Howard "out indefinitely" until the playoffs. Won't be surprised to see either Parsons or Harden go out some games with "injury".

The way Asik sets a screen, makes Parsons, Lin and of course Harden so much deadlier. Asik's screens make up the difference between him and Howard and then some.

    I think you're right.

If Dwight Howard played exactly like Asik the team would be better.

Dwight is 28. He's 6'9. He gets shutdown in the post by larger stronger guys all the time. Especially in the big games. McHales needs to put his footdown and tell him to play like Asik. Defensive, rebounds, and screens. And he will get about 12 points a game on easy lob dunks and putbacks.

Knee jerk reaction: trade his ass already, we won 1 game without him.

Hopefully we experience Spurs-esk playoff run as well.

A CF run would be awesome.

6 games in the 2nd Round should be the absolute minimum.

That's not Spurs-esque. The Spurs sit their players for 1-2 games here and there, not for over a month. It would be something like:

    "James Harden - DNP Beard"

McHale doesn't have the cojones to try something like that.

Hope he will get healthy soon. Coming back too quickly though could be dangerous.
