I'm going to miss Dwight. I still think it could have worked. Harden and Howard are two passive aggressive personalities. Wasn't going to work.

I'm sad it's over, but I'm kind of glad too. It was just too maddening watching no one know how to pass to him. The media hate for him was almost too much to take.

The dude played hurt a lot and always gave it his all on the court. His role diminished significantly but he didn't pout and complain in the media like a lot of superstars. You may not like the results but he always played hard and did a lot for the city of Houston outside just NBA stuff. People are so damn ungrateful, it's crazy.

His tenure here was mixed. I feel this year he kind of gave up and caused a lot of distractions. I would do it over 10/10 times though. Daryl shouldn't be blamed for Dwight and James not fitting together. Dwight needs to take a hard look at himself and begin to understand his limitations. I do believe he will do so, sadly it will almost surely be on a different team. I will always remember the joy I felt when he chose to play here over his other options. I will never boo him because I feel his first two years were fantastic despite injuries but his tenure wasn't exactly what I had envisioned.

Agree. He's a classy person. Anyone would have taken the money.

What could have been if the Clippers never got Doc Rivers.

Chris Paul was going to come here, that would have been perfect. He would have been the leader to get both Harden and Howard to stop being little _______ about this who gets the ball and Harden would have learned how to play off the ball right away because CP3 wouldn't have had it any other way.

Also it would have been better for Chris Paul because he would not be a cursed Clipper.

Ah well, had some good times with Dwight. Overall a disappointment but hey, we had one tremendous season with him that gave us hope for a few games that we were going to do something special. Not sure how it came to this but peace.

The internet - where it's required to hate anyone and everything all the time.

Dwight - thanks for all of the community service, the Clippers series, and the WCF appearance.

    Best of luck.

Seriously? I remember ONE, that playoff game against the Blazers two years ago when he went nuts in the first half. THAT was the Dwight we needed to see (as Drexler would say) night in and night out. Instead, we got Dwight at his best maybe one out of twenty games or so.

I really wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt, and I acknowledge that he's the shining example of what pro athletes should be in the community, but it's time for Dwight to move down the road and raise the hopes of some other fanbase.

Good Luck Dwight with which ever team you end up with. Always be the funny guy. Can't wait to see you play against the revamp Rockets team, it will be fun.
