What is there to appreciate? He should appreciate Les for over paying him. He didn't bring a ring to the city and he will never take the responsibility of really doing what it takes to accomplish that task. That's why he had to leave Stan Van Gundy, Kobe and now the city of Houston. Now take that barney and friends attitude to another city and fail again.

I think you may have mistook what i meant. I shouldn't been more clear. Dwight hasn't been the defender he once was. Without his defensive impact on the Rockets, we won't win. Dwight was a all star because of his defense. He has multiple defensive player of the year awards to prove it. He has not been close to that player lately. When i say Dwight needs to produce, I'm not asking for 30 points a game. I don't expect offense at all, to be honest. He needs to be the Defensive Anchor, he is the backbone of the defense. We need it every night.

he's indirectly a problem cuz the team became stupid and forgot how to use him correctly. and that will have an effect on dwight's mood since his mental game isnt the strongest.

Nah... I still blame Morey. How many 3's did the team shoot/make again?

As noted, Kobe was right about Dwight.
More importantly, the complete hoax that is Chubby-Chaser Daryl Morey needs to go, like yesterday.

this doesn't sound like an appreciation thread more like angry post break up text message.

thank you for being the only guy to consistently give it in the playoffs, even without knees. Peace to the gods.

The Rockets just suck this year. I mean you could have any center you want (in place of Dwight) and if the game plan is shoot as many 3s possible/hope Harden isos to a win it's still going to be similar results. Shooting ~3-30 in some games... It's not going to matter. I mean obviously this game he played ****ty, but a lot of times it hasn't been on him and the team still ****s it up.

This team has no game plan outside of 3s and ****ty rotations from JB/Morey (whoever runs the team, honestly who cares)... it's already passed the point where this season matters.

Any dreams of this team having some miracle need to just look at the game plan that's basically iso/shoot 3s and realize next year can't come soon enough. I mean hopefully the offseason is nicer to the Rockets, but with this franchise it wouldn't surprise me if they **** that up too, but hey there's still a shot and since it's not a 3... maybe they'll have a chance.

Because I believe that Howard has checked out on the team, in his subtle ways. Like he has done in the past. Good luck to him next year!

Lol, the forum has pretty much imploded, I thought some of the threads were questionable when the Rockets did well last year... But this is getting to new levels.

Howard still plays defense. One of the few on the team who does

And his defense (in decline) isn't good enough to cancel out how negatively he affects our offense. He's a net negative and it's not surprise the Rockets' record without him is elite. Just like last season.
