Dwight Howard and Troy Daniels were at Main Event in Katy

Cool story bro. This is why Dwight more than deserved that Kid's Award thing he won a few months ago.

 

He played pop-a-shot for hours. He was just letting whoever come up in turn and play multiplayer with him, all paid for. Here's a pic of my son (closest to the camera) playing with him. He got to play him twice, and the same for my daughter (not pictured).

For the record he was smoking everyone big time. He consistently flipped the score (only had two digits, and he went over 100) consistently.

 

Also, after the game he turned and gave my son a high five, which my kid hasn't stopped talking about since. I know the pic isn't great, but hey, my phone sucks.

 

Damn. I was just at Main Event a few weeks ago(the night of Game 1 of the Finals). Oh well, maybe next time.

 

For the people who were wondering how they missed this.... follow Dwight on twitter. He does this often, apparently. It's how we saw it.

I guess Dwight must live near Katy, probably Cinco Ranch or something. I do remember him saying he lives 40 minutes outside of Houston. I always drive by there i am just outside Katy Mills, I have never been there, guess ill check em out one of these days.

I hope people don't take things like these for granted.

 

Nah, Cinco isnt for ballers. Maybe Yao's old neighborhood Lakeforest, or Kelliwood somewhere. If not there, maybe somewhere near Memorial east of Highway 6. I would live in the loop if I was him though.

 

Thats pretty cool. Main Event is kind of lame though
