im sure he would still be popular there but maybe little more now that he is a rocket and because yao and lin
That is insane. If I was Harden I would have just said no way and everybody go home it is raining. When I 1st saw him at the event and raining was nuts but then he walked out and into all them people that were adoring him shocked me. In the rain!
Of course Harden would say do this. He gets upset when a cup of water gets spilled on his phone. Dwight Howard handles water like a real man.
Not that it really matters and not to get too far off topic but speaking of Adidas and Dwight... Wasn't he due for a new shoe deal? Did that happen yet? (I believe that was a 'talking' point at one time, believe it or not now, ha. 'No way he's getting his mega shoe deal in Houston! Only in LA, NY, blah blah blah).
Lol Yeah it was aid that he was going to get a lot less money if he signed with Houston instead of LA. Seeing the friggin people standing in a monsoon to just see him tells me maybe he will get a nice paycheck.
My favourite shoes that I ever played in we're the Hakeem Spaldings. I grew up in the poorer section of Sydney Australia and was lucky enough to get hand me downs off a good friend who travelled to the US & played for Merrymac High School in Boston. The Nike huaraches were light weight and great to run & jump in, the old school Jordan's were ok. I also loved my red & black Shawn Kemp Reeboks, the first (& only) 'expensive' shoes I was ever bought. I played in the Australian CBA at the time for the Bundaberg Bulls, listed as a 6'2" swingman! and a lot of the guys were distracted by my shoes! I'm wearing black & red Adidas X-trainers at the moment, I have wide feet, so they fit well and are comfortable. I bought my wife a purple pair.
It feels so weird that Dwight Howard is on our team now. My first reaction at seeing the title of this thread was that this should have been posted in the NBA Dish.
Dwight is a smart man. I liked how he declined to take a risky slam dunk on the wet canvas but he did please the crowd in other ways. I skipped most of it honestly since I don't understand a word and thought it was kinda awkward for some reason.
Thats why hey never dunks when they ask him to, he knows he would never hear the end of it if he got hurt.
