What a waste of money. Kinda weird how some people are consumed by hatred because of people they've never met.

Big difference from the way the Rockets did it. Orlando started hacking Dwight in the second quarter, the Rockets didn't really start hacking Dwight until the last few minutes of the game. Either way, I think it's a perfectly acceptable strategy to win a game. Putting Dwight on the line was probably Orlando's best chance at beating the Lakers. Dwight had a good night from the line and the Lakers won.
Dwight did well from the line.....but intentionally fouling him isn't a "b****" strategy. Exploiting the weaknesses or LACK OF TALENT of an opponent is good basketball. If Dwight can consistently knock down his FTs like last night then it will all go away. If he continues to shoot 50 something percent, teams will foul him......so he need to practice.
It's a really dumb strategy to do early in games. Shooting 50% from the free throw line nets you the same amount of points as shooting 50% from the field. Plus it puts the Lakers in the bonus and now you have guys like Kobe and Nash shooting free throws on touch fouls. The only time fouling bad free throw shooters should be used is when you are losing and it is near the end of the game.
