Damn that was a good story.

 

Dwight Howard is a better human than Luis Scola for sure.

Dwight has always been one of the more likable athletes in the NBA. Great human being.

 

I must be the only person alive who HATES Dwight Howard.

 

Ah man, the things we b**** and moan about on a daily basis, Then a little dose of reality to center us. Great story. If we would all just give a little more time to those in need. Good looking out DH.

 

IT was very nice of him to do what he did.....then again a part of me say, nice PR move. There are some players that get famous for being very generous in their humanitarian efforts but don't get these articles written about them. Those people are the true heroes in my mind. But its always nice when someone does something good regardless of the intentions.

 

I feel the same way. I can't slight the guy for this. But I'm still not a Dwight Howard fan.

Sad part is that we often don't know who the really good guys are because they don't get this kind of attention, but the really good guys don't care.

On that same note, by the way, you can find stories like this for almost every NBA star. It really is something that the league/PR agents put a lot of pressure on them to do.

Not saying they're not good guys, but I think most people would do the same thing in that situation.
