Well, I imagine it is because the deal is truly unofficial, and Rockets has a policy against a twitter like and the media policing staff probably let Bev know that.
BREAKING NEWS: SOURCES SAY DWIGHT HOWARD IS ACTUALLY JUST LANDED IN HOUSTON, TEXAS ON HIS WAY TO MINUTE MAID PARK TO CATCH THE END OF THE ASTROS GAME.
It seems like this. Plus they'll get to portray him in a negative way now and bash him every chance they get for leaving their beloved Lakers
This will go down as the Dewey defeats Truman election fiasco as reported by the media back in 1948 for the Rockets Organization.
If we're just shooting in the dark based on no knowledge whatsoever, how about this for a hypothesis to explain what's gone on: D12 decides he wants to be in GS. GS can't do a deal without a sign and trade. GS contacts the Lakers, tries to arrange a sign and trade. The teams fail to reach an agreement. D12's second choice is the Rockets. A source concludes that LA saying no takes GS out of the running, and thus proclaims to the media that the Rockets are D12's choice. D12 travels to LA to try to lobby for the sign and trade. I think that's a plausible scenario that might explain just about everything we've seen. I have no clue whether it's correct. Still, when the day ends, if the Lakers say no, D12 comes to us.
Don't let him go... If he sees the baseball product Houston puts out then there is NO WAY Howard signs here
Is Howard a stupid person or what?? Sources report that he wants that extra $30 millions. But makes him think that he won't get that $30mil or more by playing in Houston? With no tax and you're off in 4yr and make more about that?? What the hell is he thinking.
Pau's little brother tweeted this, but I'm not sure if he just heard something or not ....

Yeeeessssss Houston !!!
