We have five dvd players as well -- Jeff's computer, my computer, Jeff's video game television upstairs, the downstairs t.v. and the television in the studio.

We don't have a ton of dvd's, maybe 50 or so. The majority are Jeff's and they're almost all action/adventure (Jurassic Park, LOTR, the Matrix) or comedy (Tommy Boy, Stripes, Austin Powers). The few I have are mostly Woody Allen films or movies like American Beauty and Chocolat.

Sadly, the only dvd player in the house that I actually know how to work is the one on my computer. Maybe that's why I don't have more dvds.

I have 3 players. I actually have 2 on one PC and one on my PS2. I have about 10 DVD's. Most notably Band of Brothers, Happy Gilmore, Shawshank and Spiderman.

rockHEAD: have you watched Seinfeld:Comedian yet?

After watching that movie, I felt I lost two perfectly good hours of my life!

Seriously, I can't remember the last time I watched a movie that was that boring. ewwwwwwww!

Am I the only one hear who cleans up on previously viewed DVDs from Blockbuster. I've picked up some damn good titles for $9.99. Right now they have a 25% off promo going on. I went last night and picked up a mispriced Bourne Identity for $7.50 - but the cashier charged me only $6.25 for it. I also had my eyes on the following flicks for $7.50:
    Panic Room
    Goldmember
    MIB II
    Vanilla Sky

Do you think that any of these titles are worth it?

I've got about 200 DVD's for movies and about 20 T.V. boxed sets with the Simpsons, X-Files, and Stargate SG-1 (I love that show, I have no idea why, its just fun to watch for me).

The website that got me hooked onto DVD's and finding bargains for them was www.dvdtalk.com.

It was actually in a thread in their BBS that somebody posted a link to clutchcity.net that I found this place a few years ago.

Anyways, they have a good coupon section, but the best place is the bargains forums. Both DVD and non-DVD bargains on the internet. The internet deals on DVD's aren't what they once were (with coupons and other offers I probably averaged about $4 a disk for the first 50 movies I bought), however, there are still good deals to have. Plus, people find deals on there that you never see posted in coupons sections and the like.

Check it out and waste a couple of hours.

I just watched it last weekend. Although it was boring at parts, I found it kinda interesting. I didn't care for the Orney guy though, he was a cocky SOB, but once he moved to LA he became some super dork.

The extra features on the DVD were very cool. You can watch their appearances on Letterman and deleted scenes.
