I actually bought them from Best Buy, they were on sale 2 for $12. I bought 7 Ferris and 3 Lock/Stock 2 Smoking Barrels. I'm keeping one Ferris for myself. Not really wholesale, but I hope to make a little profit. btw - Best buy will only sell 3 of the same title at a time on those sales. The clerk got in trouble for selling me that many at once.
So would that be on my parent's apartment? Or my townhouse? And does that come automatically or do I have to ask for it?
Come automatically with what? With a townhouse or apartment, no. I'm pretty sure it never comes automatically. I went to State Farm, asked for renter's insurance, they gave me a form to fill out pretty much saying how much stuff I have ($-wise). I can't remember the final dollar amount, but I think it was close to $20,000 in stuff like tvs, furniture, computers, cd collection, dvd collection, etc. I think I pay something like $8 a month for it. It also covers crap in my car that gets stolen. When my car was broken into last October, I had a check for $1450 in three days, covering all the non-automobile stuff that was stolen.
RM95 - What is the procedure if I split a townhouse with 4 other people. Do i just take out a policy for my belongings?
Yeah, I'm guessing that's how it works. You should definitely do it...I can't believe there was a time I never had it.
I'm definitely going to do it. Especially now that I'm building up my DVD collection and what not. Thanks, again for sage advice.
Ugh, maybe not. What is this deductible bull****. They will only cover you after the initial 250$ worth of stuff you lose. That is r****ded.
Well, that's like 12 dvds, I'm guessing. It's worth it, trust me. I had $1450 worth of stuff stolen from my car...mostly cds.
Well, in this case, my limit was $1450, and they decided to waive the deductible and give me the full amount that was stolen from me. I believe if you get $500 stolen from you, they'll give you $250.
yes see thats how insurance works. if you get $251 worth of stuff stolen it might not be in your best interest to contact the insurance agency to recoupe your loss. but if you get let say $1000 worth of harry potter stuff stolen from you then you would pay the insurance company the $250 deductible...and then they would give you a check for $1000. if you pay higher monthly premiums then your deductible will be lower. at least thats what they told us in grade school.
Harry Potter stuff. Hilarious. But if you got 251$ worth of stuff, wouldnt you still make the claim? Or does it work like everytime you get stuff stolen you are responsible for 250 it.
Wouldnt be surprise if one does come out before the third one does. Plus I am happy they dropped the subtitle "Xmen United" from the box.
I just picked up Gangs of New York, How to lose a guy in 10 days, and best of all The real CANCUN. Lots of naked women getting drunk
I just got in Blues Brothers, Major League and Terminator I. I'm selling copies on Ebay and also Shrek and Pulp Fiction 2 Disc Special Edition....
