i was hoping we could get him going, but he's looked disinterested on both sides of the ball every time he steps on the court
F that guy. His body language when he's on the court looks like he's already given up on the team. There's a reason why Dantoni isn't playing him anymore.
people always say he doesnt shoot, most of the time its a random off from the top of the KEY, now when he gets mins its so ISO heavy he gets the quick few feet kick when someone is glued right in front of him. He use to nail a lot of shots when we driving and kicking. Someone else has had to pick this up.
One reason I wouldn’t mind starting him is so that we can hide him a bit to start the game and improve our bench with PJ.
can someone do a video of ALL his passing up shots in playoffs please, I want to see how many were off a ISO and how much room he had
If only the Rockets had traded him at the deadline, then have it rescinded, maybe then he would shoot like Robert Horry.
If that’s true what would be the reason he’s quit on the team? Unbelievably criminal if that’s really whats going on..
He can't defend so if he's not going to hit shots he's unplayable. Sad but true. Seems like his game never came back from his honeymoon.
I think in the Minnesota series, it was a play where it was about 8-10 secs left in the quarter. CP3 went and told Ryan, he was going to set him up for a last second three...Chris doing what he does, attacked the defense, and perfectly set up a kick out to RA...With Ryan being 3 ft behind the 3pt line, and the closest defender under the 3pt line, Ryno still decides to pump fake first, before throwing up a brick...Smh.....At that moment I totally knew his career as a Rockets was over....And it is sad cause I have always been one to think that Ryan was the perfect stretch 4 for us, long before we actually signed him...Sucks to have to end this way...
For every open 3 point shot that Anderson either hesitates on and passes, or bricks, he will give 2 or 3 points to the Warriors on the other end because the Warriors will be licking their chops when they see him on defense.
Against the Hampton 5, Anderson is useless. Draymond is fast enough to neutralize his spacing. He is not fast enough to play the switch on all screens. But when Looney is playing, he might have some use. To be honest, playing Ryan Anderson might (just might) be better than playing Nene to back up Capela at this point which is pretty sad concerning our backup center position.
Pretty obvious why. The guy lost his starting spot to Tucker and his backup minutes to Green. It's not like we haven't been in this situation before. Mad Max quit on the team when he lost his starting spot to Clyde. But at least Maxwell was somewhat justified in being PO'd about the lack of minutes given his role in the '94 title run.
