Rockets rotation is going to be interesting next season.

I could see the Rockets running something like Reed-Amen-Tari-Durant-DFS in the non-FVV minutes to give the Rockets a wide open offense that can switch to keep guys off of Reed. Reed-FVV-JSJ-Sengun-Adams may be the complementary lineup when Amen and Durant sit. These lineups would keep 3 of FVV, Durant, Sengun, Amen, and Reed on the court to minimize the time with bad judgement on ball.

Caveat: These lineups are more illustrations than set in stone on how things will be. I just think the Rockets try to keep 3 of their offensive BB IQ players on the court for competitive minutes.

Durant has the talent of a superstar but the leadership mentality of a role player. He’s always been comfortable just playing his scoring role. When he has to do other things he get uncomfortable.

I’m just looking forward to this guy on the court, off the court couldn’t care less about his petty little twitter beefs and opinions on anything. Even if we win a trophy with him, you’re not going to see me with a KD jersey. Only Amen or Adams can have that honor.

That's all that separates the Rockets from the 1A at which they are capped.

That equates to ~54% of a vet min.

They can sign someone for the rest of the season after 37 games.

I wouldn't complain about either option ... but I have to wonder if either of them wouldn't prefer being on a roster for the full season rather than just over half. It's more money in their pockets.

IF they aren't possibilities when the time comes, I expect Stone waits for the buyout market.
