Durant traded to Houston for Green, Brooks, #10 pick, and multiple 2nd rounders

I'm interested in hearing this. What is the plan?

 

because he had an out of body experience and dropped 38 points with 14 free throw attempts in 1 of the games…major fluke

regular season and post-season defensive pressure are 2 entirely different things…OKC will be in his grill

 

[Windhorst] KD kept rejecting trades until the price got so low that the Rockets couldn't say no. Essentially both pushed his way to Houston and made sure they got him for pennies.

 

Agree with all that exact I dont think he's fit to be a bench scorer. Too inefficient. Jalen benefitted a lot from being our highest usage player and shooting the most shots.

If he is coming off the bench he's not likely to have nearly the control over the offense as he had here. Even next year with Booker, if he doesnt become more efficient expect his numbers to take a sizeable drop. He wont be the highest usage player there and very unlikely to lead them in shot attempts if Booker stays healthy.

 

I watched.. an hour straight of wailing and gnashing of teeth...

 

I just don’t think he’ll be as inept as you’re making him out to be. I think the pressure of Jalen stinking it up will ease the pressure off of Fred.

 

I mean, they had to be more realistic. KD isn’t fetching top tier return at this point

There’s a timeline where he goes into the hall of fame as a rocket.

 

If the Rockets win 1 championship with him here and he is here for three years, it would seem to be the front runner. Could also see him go in as a Super Sonic. Right now, I would say Brooklyn would be the team. He has a very tenuous relationship with OKC and GSW at this point. Time usually heals all but doesn't seem like those will ever fully heal.

 

It's so satisfying after how cocky they were about the prospect of trading KD and getting a huge return. I still half don't believe it's real, we got KD for almost nothing. It's ****ing beautiful hahahaha.
