it's at least 25 pts. you take the lowest points he's made during a streak and you put some meaning towards it. the only thing that makes it meaningful is the group of people that share the streak with him... and it's a pretty amazing group... so yeah... it's kind of meaningful then.

I give props to Durant for not desperately trying to get those points. He still looked to pass first. Them just fighting words.

Let Bev guard him; I'm sure he'd be quaking in his Nikes.

It's not HOU he should be afraid of; it's SAS, MIA, IND, LAC.

I've noticed this transition as well. First it came across his face, then his words.

And that's too bad for me cause I really liked his humble approach to the game.

    Oh well.

Durant wants some one-on-one with Chandler.

My opinion of him has completely changed since last season's playoffs.

And watching him in close game situations against other teams - his reaction isn't the same as those shown against Houston.

I don't know if it's the fact his buddy from his Championship-contending team is now forming another contender down South - but the dude is a straight up C-bomb when playing Houston.

Couldn't even suppress my smile when he tried to act tough getting up in Garcia's grill and Garcia couldn't care less.

One of the best parts of this game for me was in the 4th quarter can't remember exactly but within the last few minutes - he had his typical foray to the ring and no foul call resulting in another TO. Rockets were on their way up the court. Dude just put his head down and slowly walked back up the court. It's funny because Harden has done something similar on occasions - but seeing the darling of the NBA do it too is straight up embarrassing.

and the KD ego-trip begins. And to think people actually said he was a model athlete while LBJ was a cocky POS :rolleye:

Anyway his teammates are total garbage and I hope he orchestrates a trade to H-Town. He was orignally from Texas anyway so a new big 3 of Harden, Howard and Durant would win the next 10 rings.

It's a combination of things. When Westbrook is out, he acts more like the alpha male. Also, it's in his backyard.

But the real reason for him being vocal is he wants the MVP badly. And I don't blame him.

Relax. MJ and just about every superstar has made the, "they can't hold one on one" comment. I actually respect his arrogance

I didn't even watch the game last night, but Sportscenter pissed me off last ntalking about how it was the second night of a back to back, "I'm not gonna use this as an excuse for them but.." meanwhile the last two times the Rockets played the Thunder they were on the second night of back to backs, no one mentioned the Rockets might be tired they just kept talking about the second half collapse.

I'm more partial to North American hardwood type defenses. Tropical hardwood is just not sustainable.

We figured out the Thunder. Great players adapt. Great Teams adapt. This is where they will miss Harden once again. They are lacking other options.

No problem with what Durante said. Rockets don't have a wing defender and probably help on him more than most teams.
