It is always better to be a favorite than an underdog. When was the last time the Rockets played a playoff series as a favorite and lost? You have to go back to even before the championship years.

Rockets are always UNDERDOGS!! Even with Hakeem, only one Houston Newspaper man picked the Rockets, to win it all and that selection was very rare.
To-day we hope for our Rockets! It should be taken one game at a time.
Our Team has so many variables that have to click and perform in sequence, so let the momentum build after each win but never rush or push the Rockets into anything that they might not want to be rushed into! It is best that we remain undergogs and shock everyone! :p

As a favorite, it would be 97 when they swept Minnesota.

They have played a couple series as underdogs since and always lost. Rockets are just not good underdogs, even though the 95 championship kind of makes us think differently. That was just an exceptional year.

The Mavs won't be around for the second round. For some mysterious reason, the Warriers have their number. Not on paper, but on the court. The Mavs will be psychologically crushed never to be heard from again. Avery will move on, the end. The Warriers have "no pressure," they will be "free stroking" and having fun. They will win in seven. The NBA will be in utter shock. (If I play this enough in my head, will it come true?)

No :p . One series, one game at a time IMO. All the talk about the Mavs is seriously premature. Heck, we are going to have a dogfight on our hands with the Jazz.

If I were a betting man I'd bet the 1st two games are split. Then the next two. I expect these Rox will win the series in six, or seven. I'm hoping six.

I'm hoping Nellie v Avery goes seven and I truly don't know which I'druther face, I'm just glad for the opportunity - which starts Saturday at the Toy Shop.

this maybe the first year ever that all the lower seeds win in the first round of the western conference.

    Rockets over Jazz.
Warriors over Mavs. (Im praying the warriors kill them. I really like their chances of running and gunning with the mavs.)
KOBE over Suns. (Lakers always gives them trouble)
AI and Melo over Spurs. (Just hoping how they ended the season) Really doubt the spurs lose they. I think they are champs

    Rockets over Warriors.
    AI and Melo over KOBE
    Rockets Over Ai and Melo

    Sweep the finals

Nice thought, but aren't we the higher seeds against the Jazz. 4th v 5th...

So, really hope your dream doesn't come true!
