I thought it would be after seeing it on tv. Hopefully he can recover and be something like he was before.
When the injury happened I remember Baldinger saying that he hoped that it was a broken shin bone rather than a soft tissue injury like the knee & hamstring because a broken bone would be easier to heal. Hearing that he'd completely torn his hamstring from the bone confirmed my worst fears. I have to agree that this injury sounds career threatening. And to make matters worse, it also means that Faggins is back starting at CB to replace Robinson. All I can say is RAT FART!!!
Team doctors told Robinson his hamstring ripped completely off the bone, and he might have torn at least one knee ligament. _____ Yeah, this is going to be a tough injury for him to come back from 100% -- he must have been in some serious pain.
The Texans are cursed for throwing games in 2005. I think they've got to cut Kris Brown to appease the football gods.
I'm no doctor, I have not watched any highlight shows and I have not listened to any radio but I saw that play and I'm telling you he will be lucky to be back for next season. I'm thinking Spencer part 2
Holy lord. Awful, I was a major fan of DR23. Now Faggins gets back on the field as a starter. Terrible situation. I'm really down over this. Posters have been dogging Robinson more and more the last year, but I don't think there's enough appreciate of the fact that he's left on an island every game with no help support. Everyone's trying to cover for Faggins' endlessly blown coverage, and our OLBs can't cover the flats to save their lives. Evan
this sucks.. i hope i didn't jinx it by finally getting his jersey after thinking "i want it" for a couple of years..
It's unbelievable to me that we very well may have seen DR's last NFL game. Just sickening. I used to laugh when people said this franchise was cursed. Now.... not so much.
Why? Why? Why? Im no medical expert, so maybe someone can chime in on what the injury is (more specifically) and how long it would take to recover? Ripping something from the bone doesnt sound good though....
IF he can come back, the mending and rehab alone will take a minimum of 2 years. Unfortunately, he will never be the same. He will be a step slower and may never regain have the burst of speed where he hits people with wreckless abandon.
well I can see them going 4-3 and being 8-8 then they MUST win 9-11 games in 2008 and then the will have "turned the corner" Home Games New Orleans Tampa Denver J-Ville 3-1 Road games Browns Titans Indy 1-2 for a 4-3 record the last seven games and a 5-3 second half. 2007 5-3 at home 3-5 on the road reason for not being better than 8-8 = not enough depth to withstand injuries
This is the worst case scenario. If you had to pick one player on the Texans to NOT get injured it would have to be Dunta, he is miles better than the alternatives. Thank goodness we drafted Bennett or we would have to have a Street free agent logging big minutes.
I knew the second I saw that replay he was going to be done for the season getting surgery done to repair something.
