It's scary to think he is already 29, which is only 3 years younger than a lot of "old" players these days who are no longer themselves (Jermaine O'Neal, Yao, McGrady).

I guess Wade coming in the league as one of the older rookies helped preserve his body much longer than those who came in when they were only 19 or 20.

He's 29? Wow. Miami better win their championship soon, he'll be out of his prime in about 3-4 years. Lol.

Wade has already suffered several injuries, and luckily for him they haven't slowed him down too much.

He hasn't developed a 3 point shot yet, despite being in the league for 7 years already. It only takes one unlucky injury to slow him down considerably, and having a 3 point shot is important to the evolution of your game, as especially when you start losing your athletism.

3-4 years are a pretty damn long window. plus, lebron and bosh are only 26. it isn't like wade is the first option now anyways. if he does decline, he'll just slide to the 3rd option.

It seems to be trending that Wade has a "Dunk of the Year" dunk every season.

I think the dunk on Varejao was last season, and that was definitely the best dunk last year.

90 percent of teams would love to be in Miami's position.
And who says, after Wade Retires, they couldn't get another superstar.

Dammit what happened to D Wade? He used to be much more humble/likable.

Still an awesome dunk though, but not dunk of the year

    This.

In football, there's a celebration after getting a sack, after hard hits, and on getting 1st downs. Especially in front of the home crowd.

BUT, I'm seeing that people are noticing that D Wade is and always has been as arrogant as anyone other swingman in the league.

For some reason I've just never seen the D Wade level of humbleness everyone else does. He's been flexing and preening after dunks for half a decade.

Not that the Heat have done their part to charm people over...

Though whats he expected to do, go over to the scorers table and sign over a "Donation a Dunk" check over to his favorite charity?

Well, you have to be cocky when you have a team full of superstars. It would make you look like a p***y if you declared 8 championships in the off-season and in the middle of the reg. season you just ease up on that.
