    That conversation has been tainted by his lack of passion/work ethic, mental issues, unwillingness to shoot, and physical health, but don't forget that even despite all of that Ben Simmons was still a VERY good player before he just started refusing to shoot and had those back injuries. If you could clone Ben Simmons but implant a passion for the game, work ethic and mental stability within him, I'd be all over that! And I've heard nothing questioning Amen's competitiveness or work ethic; both of which were known question marks for Simmons going into the draft.

    Amen can have the work ethic. He and his brother (reported by the OTE coach) as sleeping in the gym, but isn't that kinda worse? All that work ethic to age 20, no school responsibilities, and the shooting still isn't there.

    It's alright. Your opinion is valid. I have just never liked Simmons. I have a strong bias against players I consider low-basketball-IQ.

    Exact same thing I wonder. If infinite time can't improve a skill, I'm not sure what can outside of a mentor with an incredibly magical touch.

    According to Hollinger & Duncan we drafted Jaylen Brown and Andre Iguodala-Russell Westbrook hybrid. (Partially joking)
