well, thanks alot to you guys again for helping out. after a day of thinking about it i decided that im just gonna try to forget about her, because this is twice shes walked all over me(the first time was when she broke up with me). im sick of getting burned by this girl. hopefully ill find somebody that i have the same feeling for. this whole situation still sucks, but i just gotta forget her and let her go. burn me once, shame on thee, burn me again, shame on me. hard to take, but thats life i guess.
Hey, it's hard at first; everything you do during your everyday life will probably remind you of her. (Especially when her name is a common adjective ) But you get over it soon, you see a nice pair of boobs... err I mean meet a nice young woman and you start imagining her taking THAT HO's place in your thoughts. Honestly, don't do the friends thing, because that's not what you'll be. You'll be the guy who wants to get his girlfriend back, eventually gets jealous when she is dating other guy, and then gets heart broken while making feeble attempts to keep communicating with a girl who is asked by her new boyfriend to stop communicating with you. The end of the road is clear. Don't take it. It leads nowhere. The odds are heavily stacked against you. If you truly want to be friends stop talking to her and then send her a letter in one year letting her know what you've been up to. That will work. Your current plan, a disaster waiting to happen and I know from experience.
[off topic] Speaking of out of control women.... ...actually girl. This scares me. I was driving on a small road in the middle of town yesterday, and two girls were walking on the cross street. Both could not have been more than 12 or 13 yrs. old. One of them had on a long skirt, with a slit up to about knee high. As I approached the stop sign, this girl does this little stop and turn motion so that her leg was showing out this slit, with a coy smile at me. Is this normal now for girls that age? I wanted to stop and find out who their parents are and tell them what their daughters are doing. Lord help my daughter if I ever find out she did something like that to a stranger on a public street. [/off topic]
SSDD. Sorry to hear about your problems. Now you know better. I tried to guide my stepson on what his g/f was doing, but he had to learn for himself. I have come to the conclusion that most guys have to get their hearts ripped out and monkey stomped until they learn that many women are psycho b!tches and that we should kick their bipolar butts out the door the instant they pull a 180.
Dude, Nobody will ever understand women...If you really want her in your life, then I suggest you keep trying...If not, just move one and maybe one day she'll realize, but by then, it may be too late...
One last suggestion, guys... How to get over a girl: 1) don't do anything stupid. How do you know if it's stupid? If you can't decide whether or not you should do it, the answer is no, you shouldn't. That goes for... calling her up in the middle of the night drunk, quitting your job, sending her a gift... whetever. 2) Focus on simple things. Eat. Sleep. Work. Walk. Left foot forward... ok, next step... right foot forward. Watch TV. Relax. Don't try to do extra stuff (like, don't try to make a concentrated effort to spend more time with your friends). It won't help. Just keep doing basic stuff and be patient. The pain doesn't go away, you just become used to it (like diabetics who have to give themselves a shot every day). 3) Don't be mopey - give yourself time. Be patient. Realize that you've got lots of time on your hands. You might not be over her for years. But it will happen.
