OR maybe the rape didnt happen. I am suprised how many Duke students were not supporting their own. The DNA evidence hasn't been completed so why are they raising a rukus about it? how do they know they stripper wasn't fabricating it? maybe she needed the money being a single mother and a student thus making up the rape story for the $$$$. I thought i was innocent until proven guilty.
Anything is possible, but haven't the authorities already said there is no doubt there was a rape? According to the WP article: District Attorney Mike Nifong has said that he is "pretty confident that a rape occurred," but that he does not expect to file charges until next week. To him, the question isn't if it happened but who, at that party, did it. All the DNA evidence will show is who was involved, not if it happened at all.

Yeah and if you raped somebody I am sure you would put it in an email for more and more people to see.
i'm surprised myself that this story is finally posted on here. It's been on ESPN.com for a while, and other news stations. I think it's okay, because Duke graduates it's athletes. So it's all good in that hood known as Durham.

I don't know if she was raped or not, but considering somebody "innocent until proven guilty" is not the same as convicting the accuser of being a liar. RR - funny how you took a different side in the Kobe incident. Why would you do that?
i am saying the players are innocent until proven guilty, not her. i didn't say she definately wasn't raped by the duke players, but i am saying she does seem to have reasons to make up the story. i didn't make her a liar, i just said too many people are already making the players guilty before the DNA evidence came out.
on tv last night they were saying it may be hard to do the DNA stuff because of the fact that there may be 4 different people involved.. meaning mixed DNA.. hope they are able to identify the truth.
kam.. yeah I figured you were joking.... What disturbs me is (if players are guilty) that the other players haven't came out and told who did it... It I were one of those players that was not involved and knew who was.. I'd be giving all the info I could to the police to get my name cleared from the situation.
