I read that part in the Yahoo! article first, and thought wth.

immigration debate

Am I reading the same paragraph that further elaborates on the setting of the crime and describes related previous incidents of unprovoked violence? Is that the unnecessary part?

This is a problem with the pervasiveness of social media that it has made us more narcissistic and self-centered. Just to be clear I am not blaming YouTube for these murders as in these cases the killers used to just leave notes, but I do feel that the look at me aspect of social media and that things do go viral is causing problems.

I know it's real, but it's hard to believe. That video, which is 7 minutes of whining about not kissing girls, with a fake trying-hard-to-sound-evil laugh that comes out every 30 seconds, just doesn't look like the work of someone who would actually do something like this. He clearly had mental issues but damn.

Eh, the guy is really not that scary to me. Definitely more of the type that you would just want to beat the **** out of.

I am 95% sure the guy was gay (see his mannerisms). He also seems like a theater geek. Why is he blaming women for not ****ing him? Clearly he never made an honest effort to lay women. It's really not that difficult.

 

Perhaps we're learning that the line is more thin than we like to think.

Eventually big data is going to help us see these coming a little better, but that's going to open a big ole can of worms too.

Well there is clearly a rhyme or reason to their logic. Generally "mental patients" have emotional issues. His logic is not incomprehensible. It's just pathetic.
