How many times can a person say that a lost elephant stumbled into your conversation? Personally, I can now say "once".
Someone told me that their support for Home and Business are different. Maybe this is why I could'nt understand my Dell support guy.
Yes, I read the thread. Your article even points out how far Dell's customer satisfaction has fallen since 2000. Even though they are slightly ahead of HP and IBM, they are ALL low. The article also mentions how the call centers are being called out for being unsatisfactory...and this thread is full of other complaints as well. Dell's own business model is low tech, low cost. I'm not saying its bad, its just that they've always made up with their lower quality machines with excellent support. Now their support is not at the level it used to be, so people have started to notice.
There was a show on Frontline that exposed Wal-mart. They have one item with the "rock bottom price" that makes the consumer think the other better quality items must be cheaper when it really isn't.
never had a probleM w/ Dell. I have order 3 PCs on seperate occassions and never had a problem w/ UPS either. Best of luck
my last dell was a nightmare and the customer svc was worse! but i luv my new apple....thanks to all the guys here who told me to get one!
