This is great. We need more dudes crossing over and dominating women's sports!

I won't touch on this specifically but if women want real equal rights we need to add them into Selective Service Act. Every humanoid between the ages of 18-26? needs to be registered for the draft. We see in Ukraine that they get a pass to leave and others are tough as hell and will fight to the death.

These people that do this have absolutely no shame. But then again I know people like this exist in competitive sports.

They are the type of people that don't want to put in the work and will sandbag to get any kind of cheap victories. It even exists in rec leagues, I've seen good volleyball players intentionally join beginner leagues just to absolutely smash everyone. I've also seen in jiujitsu tournament, brown or purple belts intentionally compete in lower divisions so they can beat up on the blue/white belts.

I don't know how people can live with themselves knowing they aren't winning in a equal playing field

Now I haven't looked into this much but are you saying they changed their entire sexual identity out of a desire to win sports competitions?

Are you willing to stop having any sex with the opposite sex to win some tournaments?

    Apply basic empathy skills.

The fact that you think you can shame transgender people out of being transgender says a lot about your lack of empathy.

I definitely have mixed feelings about this.

I don't think it's fair for transgender athletes to be denied competition. Lia Thomas does take hormone therapy and that impact their times - raising them significantly. At the same time, this doesn't seem fair to women either, and it's understandable they feel cheated.

People with empathy understand that both sides here have legitimate grievances rather than making dumb bigoted assumptions that people who change genders do it to just win sports competitions.

no I didn't say that at all. I'm sure she didn't change her sex to get her advantage in sports, i am saying that she knows exactly what she's doing as in she knows she is 100% aware of the massive physical advantage she has over bio women, and yet continues to somehow justify it in her head that it is the right thing to do. It's a mentality that all sandbaggers have, they don't care about even playing field, they see a loophole for some cheap glory, they will go for that.

Can you try to step into her shoes and understand that she sincerely feels she's a woman and also has a passion for a sport she wishes she can play at a high level?

I don't think there is anything immoral about what she is doing. But at the same time I understand the women she plays with having issues and not thinking it's fair. I understand both sides here.

There is no easy solution here especially if you consider both sides having valid points and neither side being "evil" outside those who use this issue as a crutch to just hate on transgender people in general. Not saying that is you btw.

She is not denied competition, she can compete in men's competition like he did before transitioning.

How does intentionally taking hormones to worsen your own time justify going into the women's division and then smashing all the record.

no I can't, in fact a lot of people in the trans community can't either.

Anyone that does sports at a high level or any level knows the spirit of the game. Everyone knows the men's and women's competition isn't separated due to the social construct known as gender.

She's not stupid, it doesn't take a genius to look at their mediocre times as a men and know that will give them championships in a women's division without any extra work.

    Yikes.

Thanks for admitting you have issues with empathy.

Is there any possiblity here in your heart to even accept there might be a possiblity that she truly feels like a woman and playing with men will demean her as it shows that society doesn't see what gender she truly sees in herself?

Like you can see how it might be demeaning to her if she has to play with men when she doesn't see herself as a man? She wants to be part of the womens' club because she truly feels as if she's a woman.

The solution is to create a trans division. It might be limited initially but they will come.

The hormones cause your body to change in a way that would make you non-competitive in men's sports.

She wants to compete in the sport she identifies with. Why should a transgender woman have to compete with men? Fact is she is stuck between two worlds. She takes hormones which makes her less competitive against men, and yet if she does well against women, it's deemed unfair even though most transgender athletes don't do all that well.

But I get it from the other side as well - it feels unfair.

no it doesn't it has zero to do with Empathy and everything to do with basic common sense.

There is literally nothing demeaning about competing with men, do you know why? because there's no such things as men's league. Men's league are actually all gender leagues, it's actually a great achievement for a woman to be good enough to compete in the MLB or NBA. There's many that have tried over the years but they just weren't good enough due to obvious biological differences.

The ONLY reason women's sports are created is to create an environment where biological men CANNOT compete in it. It is a way for women to still compete on the world stage and achieve something. It is the same idea for paraolympics, there's nothing stopping any handicapped person to compete in the Olympics, in fact didn't someone actually qualify recently in track.

Women's sports have absolutely zero with do with gender identification, so whether or not Lia sees herself is completely irrelevant.

Ya you definitely lack empathy if you think what she goes through is a grift.

There is a reason why their suicide rates are so damn high. It's exactly because of people like you.
