I’m glad that her opinion is finally being heard and maybe for once a consideration of what females want and believe will be taken into consideration before men decide what is or isn’t appropriate.

Those emotions were authentic, I don’t know why the can’t-get-laiders on here that virtue signal left and right @fchowd0311 are for forcing women like that to endure abuse in the form of penises being pulled out in their faces…without so much as a headsup. They didn’t consent to it t but apparently that doesn’t matter. Forget past sexual abuses and traumatic experiences being relived, those preferences are irrelevant but how Thomas wants to be addressed isn’t.

I have no issue addressing transgendered persons by the name and pronoun they want and will treat them with the same respect as I do anyone else. I recognize that transgendered people are discriminated against and deserve the same basic protections as everyone else.

However it is obvious that when it comes to competitive sports or even quotas in jobs, etc., that biological women should be in a separate division.

The issue I have is that no one has given any consideration to how women feel about it.

Or maybe they did and they decided that trans people are higher in the perceived hierarchy of victimhood than women and that therefore, accommodating every single trans activist demand puts you higher on the totem pole of virtue signaling.

"Why can't these women just shut up while I am trying to look extra virtuous"

Notice the crickets here by the leftists when their blatant abusive and discriminatory behavior is on display?

The Biden administration on Thursday proposed new regulations that would allow schools to bar transgender athletes from participating in competitive high school and college sports, but disallow blanket bans on the athletes that have been approved across the country.

“The proposed rule … recognizes that in some instances, particularly in competitive high school and college athletic environments, some schools may adopt policies that limit transgender students’ participation,” the Education Department said in a fact sheet. It said the proposal would give schools “the flexibility to develop their own participation policies.”

Under the proposal, blanket or categorical bans on all trans athletes would not be allowed, setting up a clash with Republican-led states that have enacted sweeping prohibitions.

Schools that want to limit trans athletes’ participation in sports would have to consider the sport, the level of competition, and the grade or education level involved. For instance, the administration said, elementary school sports should be generally open to transgender students but bans could be allowed for older students, especially at the high school and college levels.

It noted that some teams require advanced skills and others allow anyone to participate, such as intramural or junior varsity squads, and said rules must “reflect these differences in competition.”

This, the administration said, was to ensure objectives such as fairness in competition.

    […]

Polling shows a majority of Americans oppose allowing transgender women to compete in sports. A Washington Post-University of Maryland poll last year found 55 percent of Americans opposed allowing trans women and girls to compete with cisgender women and girls in high school sports, and 58 percent opposed to it for college and professional sports. About 3 in 10 said they should be allowed to compete at each of these levels, while another 15 percent had no opinion.

Similarly, in May 2022, Pew found 58 percent of adults saying they favor laws that require trans athletes to compete on teams that match the sex they were assigned at birth.

And I’ve stated my position consistently that I’m for allowing the leagues to decide. Nor have I told women to shut up but have pointed out that the opinion of women are not monolithic and have cited that several female swimmers support Lia Thomas.

Unlike most of the men here I don’t presume to speak for all women.

That said I’m curious if you and other who are so concerned about women do you support equal pay for women? Do you support women athletes getting equal pay as males in the same sport if you’re so concerned about women?

Hey Kentucky girl and others who may be rape victims, you may be traumatized and relive Past abuse by having a male whip out his dick without your consent but that’s too bad!!

coming from the party that virtue signals #metoo all the time. They only care about traumatic experiences in their deemed ok scenarios

I support women some of who may have suffered abuse to not have penises pulled on their faces without their consent. That’s sexual harassment at most of places and maybe even abuse you’re condoning

Really? I said earlier in of these thread that sexual harassment shouldn’t be tolerated. That said the mere presence of a transgender person isn’t sexual harassment.

Now do you support women getting equal pay or does your concern for women only matrrr regarding this one issue?

Your being coy. Watch the video, direct evidence and testimony above. Not from me, not from you, but a female that has experienced this first hand and apparently is speaking for the majority of female athletes (apparently)

what part made that woman tear up? The presence of a trans Individual (who has every right to exist etc btw but doesn’t mean entitled to every behavior known) or was it something else

You know which part was the “sexual” part that made her uncomfortable so why tf are you pretending it’s the former

why do you as a dude get to decide what she’s comfortable with?

If a regular straight male went into a women's changing room and got naked in front of the ladies (and would look at the naked ladies), would you consider that harassment? Simple yes or no question.

When upper middle class to wealthy neighborhoods have automated gun turrets around their perimeter in 20 years, I'm sure this subject will still be the topic of our time.
