dude was a talent, always hate trading/releasing away talent, but it was clear the off the field side of things would never be repaired.
Jeremy Lane and a 3rd is not bad. McNair probably would have dropped him for peanuts after last week's fiasco.
A 3rd round pick is usually not a terrible haul. Given this team’s history of mid round picks (3-6) though, we got fleeced. Lol
Lane will be a starter on this crappy defense most likely and a 3rd round guard next draft would possibly start as well. Not a bad return to rid yourself of a major headache at the same time.
