Please share your experiences partying with Asians under the influence of alcohol. I don't think Asians are meant for alcohol; cough syrup mixed with kool aid is a much better alternative. That's just the word on the street, though.
The Asians I hang out with are picky when it comes to drinking. Hardly ever drink or will only drink Liquor. They are very quiet when drunk. They hardly speak. Now, I do know a friend that when he's had a half bottle of V.S.O.P. he gets very excitable.
alcohol makes anyone stupid.. Also who are we to talk since America has one of the highest levels of alcohol abuse, drunk driving and alcohol related violent crimes. I guess alcohol wasn't made for us Americans. If you are trying to refer to the stereotype of Japanese businessmen getting wasted and singing bad karaoke that's just their culture and way of cutting lose. At least they are not hurting anyone and not getting behind a car (i think their mass transit system is convenient) Anyways this thread is a bit stupid I feel stupid for responding. I must have been drinking already.

You're a weird one Ronny. Instead of just basing everything Asian on stereotypes and hearsay, why don't you just hang out with some and found out for real. Maybe you're right and maybe you're wrong.
Don't get defensive, we all descended from Africa. White people, green people, yellow people, brown people, you name it. And we all have our own quirks. Even if it means having a split personality and turning into a gollum like creature, eyes burnt red, hopping around vandalizing furniture and singing opera. I mean damn, that was after maybe 2 pints of regular ale. What happens at 10!
As a person of African descent, I make sure I don't stereotype others as I would not like to be stereotyped myself.
"There are no stupid questions, only stupid people. " -Smart man Now stop being emo and share your experiences. I know there are plenty, you just have to let down that wall of anger and let the memories flow. That is what this support group is all about.
That's where post #7 comes into play. I thought I would lull you guys into a conversation instead of starting it off so you could click on a thread, write cool story bro, then go back to masturbating or playing video games. But this is what I get.
But the problem is you do stereotype. You're basing everything on quasi-some truths but not quite the full image of us in your mind. I actually kind of find it amusing because work here can be boring sometimes. Yes, we have lower initial tolerance for alcohol but everyone can get use to it. I use to get bright red when I first started drinking in H.S. but by college, I preferred it. One of my 2011 new year's resolution is to not drink so much. Anyways, here's my MySpace that I haven't updated in over 5 years (in my less mature days). I'm probably drunk in most of those pictures. Hell, my dog is named X.O. (note his collar tag) Kyakko's MySpace I should also note one of my best friends in one of the pictures passed away last year from heat stroke from running in the marathon. RIP
my next door neighbor back in college was this huge 6'5" 280lb american-taiwanese beast of a football player. his face would turn bright red every time he got drunk, which was almost every night.
I'm Chinese and I drink socially. I get the Asian glow after a shot or two. I need to invest in some pepsid before I drink.
I dont follow quasi-some truths and gossip, I'm not into that. But I also don't blindly turn an eye to things in the name of being PC. I have stories of my own to share and an hour to burn on the comp, so if you want to play along you can, or you can just do the "it's not right" and get emotional. Nothing is personal!
