Why would he say I'm bailing on this team as soon as the season is over? The draft is far away so for now his loyalties are to the Huskies. However, I highly doubt he turns down being the number one pick if it is clear that's what he will be once the season is over.
This article obviously forgotten the greatest big man in its history. The player Drummond strives to be. Spoiler
That's so true. It's all about "win now" mode and being the 12th-14th draft position for the next few seasons. There is a less than 1% chance to win the lottery at that position.
I used to say I wanted to be a doctor but now I'm an electrical engineer. It's hard to turn down immediate money. Sweet sweet money.
I think he's afraid if he comes out this year the Jazz will draft him. And who the hell wants to play for the j*zz.
Short of an Adrien mention, I still don't see how this belongs in the GARM. And even the Jeff Adrien mention was as shallow a reference as you'll get in an article. This has nothing to do with the 2012 Rockets Game Action and Roster Moves.
I kind of agree. Drummond is much more developed physically, but he don't look like he will get a ton bigger. Davis is probably 3 years away from being developed physically, but man he is going to be a freaking monster in the pros.
Just say "NO" to UConn bigs! The list of recent memory does not inspire optimism. They just don't seem to develop bigs very well. Okafor was already a man-child when he got to college, and hasn't improved much in the pros. Thabeet, Hilton Armstrong, and Josh Boone are all underdeveloped. Even guys like Villanueva (who was already considering a jump to the pros straight from highschool) did not come out of UConn with noticably improved bigman skills. Personally i'm obsessed with Anthony Davis and John Henson.
on the contrary... He takes big guys who aren't basketball lovers and turns them into lottery busts.......Ask Okafor, Thabeet, josh Boone, Jake Voskul, and countless others if he's a horrible big man developer.....He's a miracle worker.... If my son grows to 7ft , he's going to UCONN or whereever Calhoun will be... WINNING!!!!!!!!
