I'm surprised Tobacco has not been outlawed yet The direction they seem to be making is not make it illegal but Ban its use everywhere in the US. Rocket River
The thing is, we have seen how ineffective prohibition is. It is far more effective to tax the crap out of substances that cause harm. This helps recoup the societal costs and allows adults to make their own decisions. As it should be... To answer the original post...least harmful to most. mar1juana Mushrooms MDMA Benzodiazepines (valium, etc.) Opium Nicotine Alcohol Snorted cocaine Meth Oxycontin Smoked cocaine Heroin
Anyone who knows anything about tobacco in cigarettes will tell you that it's much worse for you than mar1juana. I think you should also factor in what effect will you taking the drug have on everything around you. For example, which makes it more likely that you'll be violent, overdoing mar1juana or alcohol? Obviously it's alcohol. What makes you less productive in society, being high or being drunk? Again it's alcohol. What's more likely to have you addicted, alcohol or mar1juana? It's clearly alcohol. I don't know about high level drugs because I havent read as much about them, but I think it's just obvious that alcohol and tobacco are clearly worse than mar1juana. I'm not sold on legalizing any of them, but if anything, alcohol and tobacco need to be taxed way more and mar1juana must be put in the same category or lower.
