Rafer was also on security cameras at the club. The cameras showed no evidence of a knife. There were cops stationed in front of the club that didn't hear about a knife or Rafer. We should all be like you. ;-)

Regardless of the court qualities Mike Harris exhibits, he has a micro-miniscule chance of making the team.

I have not found definitive proof that Reed has been cut. I doubt the Rockets would cut him without taking at least a training camp look.

The Rockets and the NBA have not said Reed was released.

I agree 100% on his chances. But for someone to say he sucks is as a basketball player is reedickulous. To even get a camp invite to ANY team at the highest level is an accomplishment. I would be surprised if the rookie poster has even seen him play at all before this summer. Here is a guy who attacks the rim relentlessly, which is something we have been missing the last few seasons.

Here is what the coach thinks of him. (Chron)
""He just outworked everybody," Rockets coach Rick Adelman said. "He wanted it more than other guys did. Being around gives him some experience, but his attitude is such he's going to keep playing hard. That's going to really help him."

His biggest game while playing for Rice had to be the 30 point 24 rebound performance against Hawaii. Made 11 of 14 from the field and added 3 blocks.
    The guy does work.
