Drudge: MSNBC drops Keith Olbermann and Chris Matthews from anchor chair

    All that matters is ratings. His show gets crappy ratings and MSNBC was dead last in election coverage. Can someone explain to me why FoxNews and other right wing leaning media (Limbaugh, Hannity) always dominate ratings over left leaning (MSNBC, Air America Radio)? With the country pretty much split down the middle you would think liberal sided media would do better.

    I'm pretty sure it's because more left leaning people have begun to turn to internet and other news sources (Comedy Central).

    I don't think it's that.

    There is one FOX. They get the lion's share of the "conservative" viewers.

    The "liberal" viewership is divided into 2+ channels.

    I'm hardly liberal and I usually watch MSNBC. Go figure!
