Drudge: Christopher Reeve is Dead

    He was an inspiration to those who have spinal injuries, and their families and friends. He brought more awareness to the issue, and helped raise more money, through his celebrity, than anyone preceeding him. It's a terrible loss.

    Rest in peace, Chris... your struggle is over.

    I totally know what you meant but I think he was an inspiration to everyone. You didnt have to know someone or be someone with spinal injuries to be inspired by that man.

    Christopher Reeve was always one of my favorites. I was dumbfounded when I heard about his accident. And when I found out that he had regained some movement in his extremities, I was just so proud and happy for the guy to have overcome so much. I was really hopeful that things would start looking up for the guy, and now this. I don't know what I'm feeling right now, I'm just shocked. He will be missed.

    No question about it. I'm still shocked that he suddenly passed away like this. I wasn't aware of any problems. Damn.
