Funny how the Click2Houston radar has been showing rain over Houston for the past few hours yet all I've seen is a hew sprinkles. Fix that ****, Frank!
Is it making that much of an impact on lake Travis houses. I know the constant level lakes housing prices have soared. Especially marble falls
We had a light drizzle. This blows I want floods. Preferably tomorrow so I don't have to take my last finals.
Here in the Panhandle it seems like we have a dust storm every week. Things that used to be lakes are dried up completely. I've thought it was depressing and the area wasn't fit for human habitation... but looks like the part of the state I "prefer" is going through its own drought.
Where are you located? SE Texas hasn't been in a drought that long but it really got bad after Ike. I guess the good thing is, it can't last forever. Knowing Houston, when we do end up getting some rain, it will flood everything.
I'm from a family of farmers and they are all about rain or lack of. I'm pretty sure since mid 90's there have been more dry years than wet.
Freaking inner loop. Seems like every time a big storm system looks like it's heading our way in splits around downtown. At least my side walks got wet.
Out here in Oak Hill, the wind blew, there was some thunder, it looked threatening, my puppy dog looked worried when she was outside, and all that happened were some brief showers. My house didn't get diddly squat.
