Bill: Scola is an intelligent player. Clyde: Yea, he's been watching Chuck Hayes play, finding the open spot.
I remember last year, Battier was playing really good defense on someone good (forgot who) and shut him out, and Clyde said "He's been wearing the shane battier suit all day" about five times, and you could tell worrell was starting to get irritated after he said it the five thousanth time
Anytime there is less than 12 seconds on the shot clock and the Rockets are inbounding listen for: "still plenty of time <pause> to get a quality shot."
I'm watching the game on replay, and had to come in here immediately when I heard that. He doesn't change the wording at all. It's just too funny.
Okay seemed unintentional, but this one is too good to pass up. They flash a women's basketball score for UH and Morehead St. Clyde: Cougs over Morehead. Eat 'em up.
"Here's a Great pass by..." "There's a Great catch by..." "Here's a Great shot by..." "See the Great steal by..." "Look the Great defense by..." "Here we got the Great block by..." maybe some day he'll say something like:" now there's Great turnover by alston"....
I liked how at the beginning of the game Worrell mentioned that the Milwaukee coach was a good player in his day and Clyde says something like: "He was alright. I don't just throw around the word good to describe too many players." No, Clyde. You don't. You use the word great. "Chuck Hayes is a great player!" I'm not sure if you realize this, Clyde, but being great is actually better than being merely good.
We will see. Clyde will next stop amazing us. Oh by the way, why do you stop 'talking about' Yao all in a sudden? Ahhh...but I know you will become 'active' again after his next sub-par game (even better in a loss, right?). I know you too well. Seriously, it's pathetic of you to hope for the team to lose and the bad moments of our player so you can bash him.
