40 pounds of mass in a few months is ridiculous, muscle or not. I don't even know how it's possible to gain 40 pounds in under a year without the use of PEDs.
i heard that and shook my head as well. i did appreciate however, that clyde called out jones at two different points in the game for his lack of effort and focus
I'm inclined to think that he knows TJones tenure with the Rockets is coming to an end, he's usually a 1000% Rockets Homer, AKA... "A Consummate Profesional" ... ....... ....... .......
Increasing core strength can give you more balance on your jumpshot, especially for smaller players. But c'mon, do you really think a 7 footer's primary reason for gaining 40 lbs was to become a better jump shooter or to bang inside? In addition, the core strength argument is much more suited for smaller players, who have to relatively exert much more effort. I'm pretty sure Lauvergne could shoot that well before the 40 lbs, assuming the same amount of shooting practice time.
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Clyde Drexler: "Every other call has gone against the Rocket,s so what do you expect here?" </p>— Zach Lowe (@ZachLowe_NBA) <a href="https://twitter.com/ZachLowe_NBA/status/665728125054148608">November 15, 2015</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script> So, that means the refs have been calling it 50/50?
Time to lighten up the mood today. Not sure if anyone caught this gem against the Celtics: "He's going to have to do it Acapella because he can't do it by himself."
another drexlerysm after bill says harden had 24pts, 10rbs and 6asts clyde - yeah he does it all, he even serves up the popcorn at halftime
