Clyde also said Reece Gaines has mad game and should make an impact.

Yeah, sorry Clyde, but your credibility is questionable, even if he was your coach.

    one thing is for sure...

adleman made the blazers a contender only to lose to some of the best teams ever assembled. it's not his fault that while in portland the lakers, celtics, pistons, and bulls were all-time great teams.

he then made the kings into a contender but again in an era where they just didn't have the roster to compete with teams like the lakers, spurs or jazz.

adleman opens the door to greatness. this time, his roster can compete with anyone. yao and tmac are as good of a duo as there is in the league. all that is left is to find a couple of other guys who can score the ball.

    the rings will come!

    Clyde's actual endorsement of Rick:

"That's called... hiring an outstanding coach. Nothing but net!"

More like an invisible-horse. I think Trigger shot for a higher percentage than Reefer. :D But Clyde called him "one of the top point guards in the league."

For what it's worth, Clyde called Adelman the best coach he'd had in his autobiography, long before there was any indication either of them would have a job in Houston in 2007.

Clyde is definitely a "company man." But I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one, especially with the offensive slant Adelman has, and the benefits I see Tracy and Yao reaping from this. Will we win more? Who knows, but at least we'll be fun to watch again!

i dont care if we win more or less in the reg. season. i want to see at least 8 wins in the playoffs next yr. when u have tracy and yao, u WILL win in the reg. season. hell, u will get a top 6 seed w/ just tracy.

but playoffs are where it counts
