i seriously think that when players come close to retiring, they should have some sort of financing course for "Managing your post-nba career". Class I would be titled, "Don't consider returning, ever."
Class II would be along the lines of, "You can't spend like you did when you were 25." A later class would be, "handling your aggression, why its not a good idea to own a gun during the downhill of your life."

If he does return, is he gonna be the only HOF that still play in the league?

LMAO!! No kidding. Guys build their careers getting to be known for something, they establish their leegacy, leave the game.....

The come out of retirement and spend as much time as their bodies will allow in putting a nice shiny tarnish on their accomplishments.

Stay put Glide. It's just your ego talking. Don't listen to it!!

(Just picture all the young SGs in the league blowing by him, talking smack as they do it.

Amen, brotha!! Apparently watching Jordan's knees regularly bloat up, along with not quite having close to the ups he used to when he came out of his latest retirement did't quite faze Glide.

Enjoy your money Glide. There is more to life.

Glyde is becoming worse than prime-time. He begged to be a GM, and now this. What's funny is that he really thought someone was going to give him a GM job after the debacle at UofH. Clyde didn't catch nearly enough of the criticism he should have for that. He came in like he wanted to be the Savior, and then showed up 5 minutes before games. People gave up their careers to go back to UofH with Clyde and he left them high and dry. Now this.

Go away Clyde while you still get a little love around the league.

It's over, Clyde. Just hang it up and join Hakeem in Rocket glory status.

Is Clyde running out of money? He's already got the ring so what the hell is he playing for? Must be bored out of his mind.

He could barely dunk in his last year.

What they should do is resurrect Vernon Maxwell.
He still can play, I know it.

He deserves a second chance cause he's a legend.

And you call yourselves Rocket fans?

I want Clyde to do whatever makes him happy, if a return to the NBA is what he wants then I'm 100% behind him, because I'm a fan.

Whether or not it's a successful return is something that Clyde has thought about a million times, so if he is willing to put his reputation and legacy on the line at 42 I think it's admirable.

Clyde isn't broke or reeling because of opportunities lost, he is a guy who loves competition and thinks he can contribute. I say to Clyde, do yo thang baby and whether you succeed or not, some of us will still root for you.

    GOOD LUCK

Woooooow... don't quite know how I feel about this.

It would be awesome to see him play again, but geez... I don't want him to make a complete fool out of himself like Jordan did. But then again, I'm guessing Clyde wouldn't be idiotic enough to believe he was the center of his team's championship aspirations like Jordan...

I have no problem with him wanting to come back and play in the NBA. I was actually rooting for MJ (although I was never that big a fan of his) because of all the nay-sayers; however, if Clyde is going to pull a half-ass job like he did while he was at UH, then I will call him out.

Like someone else have said, better Denver than us.

What's the point of supporting someone when you know he's going to make an ass out of himself. If I really hated Clyde I would be all for him coming back to fall on his face. Anyone who saw him play those last few seasons knows he was way over the hill then. How could anything good possibly come out of this.

I agree 100%. He wasn't ready for the rest of what came with that job. He was only interested in the gravy part of the job.

Clyde won't be able to handle riding the pine while the youngsters play. Clyde craves needs attention more than anything. I think he struggling with not being the superstar anymore.
