Outstanding, Drewdog! It sounds like it couldn't have gone any better. She invited you in for some wine, which is cool. She obviously wanted to have a relaxing and fun night. You had a great time (and it sounds like you didn't tell her everything in minute detail about what you did since high school) and really hit it off. And she's "testing the waters"... good sign! The great question now, which we'll all await, is when do you have a second date? When do you call her after THIS one? Did SHE hint at doing anything else?? Keep us informed.
Sounds like Drew did that little girl up nice and spikey... Gonna get some......oh yeah.....uh huh......... Next restaurant to hit - Cheesecake Factory. Or the River Cafe. Or La Luna the tapas restaurant in Rice Village. Next bars - Boaka Bar/Mercury Room, M Bar, Brian O'Niells, Take her Dancing so you can get close - Mercury Room, Lotus Lounge, Grasshoper. Next time take her out with some friends so you look like a popular guy. But nobody from this board. She can never know about these posts, until after you've h!tter in the sh!tter....that is....
Just don't pull a "Swingers" and repeatedly call her answering machine over, and over, and over, and over, and over...
How much smoking we talking about. A couple of cigarettes a day? Or a couple packs a day? I can't even stand being around strangers who smoke, much less a girlfriend! But if it doesn't bother you, then more power to ya!
what a wuss.... smell my smoke baby....smell it.....smell it in your elbow.....I don't even smoke actually..... but I still think it looks cool....
Happy to hear it went well Drewdog. If you want to take her for Italian food, I always recommend D'Amico's in the Village. It's a little family run place...with the checkered tablecloths and everything. The food is excellent.
Rock on Drew! Lay off the flowers for a couple more dates at least, then just suprise her with one or two when she least expects it.
