I think what we saw today is direct evidence that Drew at the backup point is capable of being and most of the time is a decent backup to Francis. What I think we really need out of any backup to Francis is someone who can come in the game and hold his own and buy some time for Francis. Drew has certainly shown today that again he is capable and will perform in that manner. I still say shop him though. Shop. Shop. Shop. First who knows who really would like to pick him up in some deal, and who knows what they would give in return. My true idea of a backup to Francis would be an older veteran point gaurd with some skills, like Derek Harper, Brian Shaw(wished we had kept him, but certainly not in agony over it), Terry Porter. That's one theory I have on that. Grab old declining vets and cycle them out in 2 to 3 year cycles.
