Dressing down in church

    Shouldn't matter how you dress as long as it's not distasteful. I'm a jeans and tee/golf shirt guy.

    I usually wear dockers and a nice shirt, basically the same as what I wear to work. I don't think I've done the suit and tie thing since I was a kid.

    I wear flip flops and when someone say's "Why do you wear flip flops to church?" I respond with "Because I just want to be like Jesus" lol... Then I explain he w**** flip flops to church all the time.

    Did they even have flip flops back then? I would guess that Jesus probably wore sandals or went bare-footed.

    Casual slacks and nice shirt with a sport coat on most cool weather Sundays... casual slacks and nice shirt without coat when it gets warmer... jeans on night or mid-week services. No ties mandatory, I rarely put a tie on anymore unless we're at a wedding or funeral.


    But please, no flip-flops. We're not at the beach. ;)
