I prefer the fitted 1MX shirt from Express. they are good for dressing up with a tie and vest/coat or they are good for dressing casual with the collar unbuttoned with some jeans... Macy's usually has nice name brand stuff (Kenneth Cole, Ben Sherman, etc), paired with a nice Penguin Brand skinny tie...
i love brooks brothers non-iron shirts and have been wearing them for 7 yrs now. i finally got my husband to try one and he loves them too! you save a lot of dry cleaning money when you can wash/dry them yourself.
agreed on brooks brothers, i think they have the best non-iron / wrinkle free shirts...its such a hassle having to iron everytime you wash your shirts.
Brooks Brothers shirts are extremely high quality. But, as someone mentioned previously, their fit isn't ideal for everyone. Particularly if you like a more fitted look. If you want something cheaper, but also acceptable for work, I'd check out Macy's since their collection is pretty large. Their Van Heusen stuff tends to do the job.
Most of em have already been said, at least the ones I shop at. But Suit Mart has pretty decent dress shirts for low budget peeps. And so does Burlington. They are not crappy either. You can find great shirts and slacks there, even shoes.
i'm fortunate enough to have a family-owned clothing store that i can get all of my work/dress related items at (because otherwise there isn't a chance in hell i could ever afford anything in there)... but i am a fan of the brooks brothers no-iron shirts. slimmer fit and not having to worry about picking up an iron = greatness
macy's, express, and dillards. I'm getting tired of the same colors though, usually blue, black, and white.
