At this point,I wouldn't worry about him tarnishing his legacy playing 10 - 15 minutes in a Rockets uni with Deke and the rest of this TEAM..Yes,the HOF deal is in the mix bigtime working against it.So is his age and past medical problems out there.You also have his life in business outside the game. I have as good or better a sense of humor as the next guy....BUT we are in a unique situation at present with this team.If there was any scenario in which this could occur...this is it.A Rockets team capable of winning it all but lacking a big guy...It's a fricken movie script and I would submit THIS is the way his career should end....monument and suiting up one more time. At this point if this in fact an April Fools joke or some PR deal for the monument unveiling I would be turned off to say the least. I want to swallow the lure so bad....I halfheartedly,for levity suggested it the day Yao went down and was met with derision. For many of us it stirs feelings that are just about unmatched in our lives. With the radio,Feigan,the ballboy,etc......Let's just say it would be too much. And the ironic thing is, I'm watching ESPN on old school bball players, right before reading the thread they showed Clyde at Slamma Jamma and Akeem was right behind him. weird If this is true, I dunno what to say.
