We do it for the Rockets. So I'll do it for the Texans too.

How about we waive a paycheck in front of Jerry Rice's nose and tempt him to come out of retirement?

I dunno about you guys, but I'd take Jerry Rice on one leg, with one arm tied behind his back, wearing an eye patch over Corey "I can't catch it when it hits me in the hands" Bradford and Jabar "Oh was that to me?" Gaffney.

Surely it's not out of the realm of possibility?

I honestly think they're both surprised when Carr gets the ball to them.

    It's like... "Holy ****, a football. DOH!!!"

I wouldn't mind having Jerry Rice as the receivers coach.

Let me see, you are Jerry Rice:

You can be the 4th receiver for the Broncos, who are in first place (2-1) for a team that could make the playoffs.......

    or

be the 2nd / 3rd receiver for the Texans who are in last place (0-2), who are at this point one of the worst teams in the league, very little chance of making playoffs.....

    or

    stay retired.....

Only 2 of those sound realistic and one would make Jerry laugh (the middle one) uncontrollably........

    I dunno, I don't think so.

I believe he retired 'cause being 4th or 5th string with the Broncos means he gets on the field maybe 5 plays a game and does little to enhance his career stats.

As the 2nd guy on a team like the Texans who desperately need a receiver not named Andre Johnson, he'll get plenty of looks. He's on the field almost every play. We're down after the first minute of the game, so we're gonna hafta rely on the passing game. Lots of balls in the air, many going in his direction. Unless, of course, David Carr tucks & runs.

Why didn't we just pick up Peerless Price when we had the chance? And isn't Peter Warrick still available?

Warrick signed with Seattle two days after he was released.

How about signing Rodman as a db? He could still have a few good years left if he moves to safety.

And Brock Lesnar could probly play better than Babin at OLB.

get on the phone Cassie, offer up some draft picks if you can find a way to do it.
