The Rockets have a great player development staff, Dream included, and we got this kid under contract. I like our record and odds on making this kid a NBA player, as if he's serious about getting better then we got him for 3 more years with a team option on the 3rd. This means we can keep him the G League next season and have him in training camp for his 2nd season. Hopefully he can make the transition to the NBA in the last two years. I like his potential and see him more of an Andre Kirilenko 2.0 mold; less rim protector and more free safety in the passing lanes and coming over for the weak side block plus some 3 pt shooting.

Zhou has really good instinct on defense, he's entirely lost on offense though, I don't think he will become a factor on offense even if he bulks up. Be doesn't seem very enthusiastic about doing anything on offense. It's like a different player on defense

    This.
I do see a potential in Joe Cheese... Even Manute Bol played ten years in a much more physical era, and his bones always looked like it would gonna break.

Remember all those hours wasted on trying to teach Dwight a post game. Props to the effort by Dwight but you might as well have taught me. At least Joe has a jumper.

He MUST get very frustrated while training these NBA players. He's like "Do it this way" and later after 1000x repetitions, they still can't do it naturally.

    Hakeem is disappoint.

Zhou should spend the summer at Hakeem's 'Center For Centers Who Want to Learn to Play Center and Do Other Things Good Too'

Does Zhou speak English? I haven't actually heard him speak. And I've never seen Dream so silent when training somebody. He usually talks in depth on every move.

I keep hoping that if I talk trash about Joe Cheese for long enough he will prove me wrong. It hasn't happened at all. One day I hope he makes me eat my words...with cheese please.

He is slow out there. Even in the G-League. He should be able to move at least at Ryan Anderson's speed.
That shows lack of heart and effort to me.

Hartenstein on the other hand has shown genuine improvement.
