What difference does it make....will it bring Hakeem back? NO, it doesn't. We need to look towards the future. We are still in a rebuilding process. We have some very talented young players who need to showcase their talent.

Hakeem was an unrestricted free agent who did have the right to pursue other options. I hate seeing him go to Toronto but you can't force him to stay(he has a tendency to sulk and be unproductive when he does something he doesn't want to).

It's best for the Rockets to move on.

Yep, and power forwards better than mo were just lining up at our door RD.

You want to see overpaid, RD?. I can understand the Rockets overpaying Hakeem to stay, out of loyalty or sentimentality, but the Raptors? You will have a 42 year old man on your team (well, payroll anyway) earning $7 mil in 2004!!!

Sigh, more Raptor fans. No bias against Mo Taylor there. Apparently he wasn't too soft when he went Head-to-Head with Antonio Davis. "Mr. 10 million dollars" Antonio Davis managed to go off for a resounding 8 and 9 on 3-10 shooting against our soft PF PLAYING CENTER. Davis' stellar defense managed to fluster Mo into 10-13 shooting for 24 points, and 8 boards. Those jumpers were a little too soft, no?

Hakeem's defense isn't HALF what you're cracking it up to be. He WAS an awesome defender. There were times this year Michael Olowokandi was absolutely obliterating him.

If you want to get into a topic of who's overpaid, I'll give you the numbers of 2 players

FTA: 5.4 3.5
FG%: 43.3% 50.1%

Player A: Antonio Davis -10.24 milion
Player B: Clarence Weatherspoon -4.538 million
