i have that poster tinman....unfortunately missing vernon's autograph . dont think i'm ever completing that.
Exact same reaction here, that was great. I was in Hawaii during the first championship and in Thailand for the second, but I never missed a game of the playoffs, even when I had to get up at about 2 in the morning to watch them
we need to bail him and Ralph out of jail. do we need to punish these great guys cause they ended up with gold digger women?? Ralph Sampson and Vernon Maxwell are just as important to this world and Nelson Mandella and the Dali Lama.
Hakeem should be in jail.....for the convicted murder of David Robinson in the 95 WCF. darn...that article was tearful
[NBA.com] It was all a Dream; Men in the Middle; Clyde i don't think this has been posted, but here are some good reads from nba.com about our legendary rockets of the past. they give homage to them due to houston hosting the all-star festivities this weekend... http://www.nba.com/allstar2006/program_olajuwon.html http://www.nba.com/allstar2006/program_bigmen.html http://www.nba.com/allstar2006/program_clyde.html
Another great article on Dream... Man the memories, When you look at his body of work and you remember seeing it, you can't help but think he is right there with Wilt and Russell.
Man, I miss those days. Every time I went to a game, Dream did something amazing. He was like no other.
heh this is actually the third time the Dream article has been posted...adn both the recap about our bigmen over the years and the CLyde one has been posted already. but hey...at least this lets anyone that missed those 5 threads read them.
did Hakeem ever "return" to Houston this weekend? because according to this article, he did not. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2002812963_allen18.html
I'm not to keen on Hakeem being a no show this weekend. He must really like living under his rock in Jordan.
If he didn't show up, I am going to guess he had something else to attend to. Anyways, I guess Drexler was right initially when he didn't mention Hakeem as one of the participants, may be he heard directly from Dream or something...
